Nine Lives, Narrow Escapes and Second Chances
Some cats have nine lives. Others appear determined to use every one.
Here are tales of cats who escaped danger, survived ordeals and found themselves in places no feline would choose. A kitten emerged from a pot of glue. A senior cat survived a freezing lake. Another vanished into the Canadian Rockies for five months before turning up in time for Christmas. There are cats rescued from rubbish bins, roadside bags, subway tunnels and streets where winter bites hard. Some were abandoned; others were unlucky. Yet again and again, someone noticed, someone stopped, and someone refused to give up.
These are stories of narrow escapes, second chances and astonishing survival. There are rescues, unexpected reunions and happy endings tucked among the tears. From New York to Montreal, the UAE to Tacoma, the adventures unfold wherever a cat needs saving.
Follow the trails and discover the extraordinary lives behind the whiskers.
